Catch the Bug Challenge

Good afternoon crafty friends.

There is a fun challenge on at the moment over at Catch the Bug Challenge Blog with wonderful Bugaboo Digi Stamp prizes to be won.  The theme is Recycle, Upcycle or use a Household Item.

Please come along and join in the fun.

Here is my contribution....

My pencil pot holder started life as a Bisto Gravy Granules pot!  I coloured the rim black with a ProMarker.  Then I added scrapbooking paper and ribbon trim.  Simples.   I finished my pot off with this sweet flower from Bugaboo digi stamps called Doodlez Flower.  I coloured this gorgeous flower in with ProMarkers and then used foam pads to attach to the pot.  You can't tell from the photo but I have added an extra coloured layer to the flower head for dimension.

Challenges:-

A Snowflake's Promise - Anything Goes
Brown Sugar Challenge - Anything Goes
Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes
Crafting From the Heart - Anything Goes
Simply Papercraft - Anything Goes

Thanks so much for looking and have a great day

  1. A pretty makeover for an otherwise discarded (once empty) item. I have designs on a pringles pot but am still munching my way through the contents! hugs Mrs A.
